Modifying PDF documents usually requires expensive software licenses. Our Edit PDF tool provides a free, interactive editor right in your browser. You can add new text layers, draw shapes, draw freehand lines, highlight paragraphs, and insert images directly onto your PDF pages, making it easy to sign, fill, or annotate documents.
Privacy is a primary concern when editing tax forms, applications, or contracts. Our tool does not transmit your drafts to any server. All annotations and canvas drawings are layered onto the PDF structure locally using pdf-lib, meaning your data never leaves your browser cache.
Step 1: Select and upload the PDF file you want to edit.
Step 2: Use the top toolbar to choose your tool: Text, Highlight, Freehand Draw, Shape (Rectangle/Circle), or Image Stamp.
Step 3: Click on the page to insert text, customize fonts, adjustments colors, or draw annotations.
Step 4: Move, resize, or delete existing annotations using the pointer selection tool.
Step 5: Click "Apply Changes & Save" to compile the PDF and download your edited document.
